Meet the Alpharetta Team Behind Hollis Air Duct Alpharetta

Our crew in Alpharetta is small on purpose. Every technician who walks through your door is someone we know by name, have trained ourselves, and would trust inside our own homes. No subcontractors. No rotating cast of strangers. Roy Castellanos runs this location and he hires for two things: competence with professional-grade equipment, and the kind of honesty that shows up in a written price before work begins. The team below is who you’ll actually meet when you call (762) 769-7145.

Our People

Marcus D. – Lead Technician

Marcus has been with Hollis Air Duct Alpharetta for eleven years, which means he’s cleaned systems in everything from ranch homes off Rucker Road to the newer builds near Avalon. He runs the Rotobrush rotary brush line and the Nikro negative-air machines, and he can explain the difference between the two without making you feel talked down to. Marcus holds a certification through the National Air Duct Cleaners Association, and his specialty is older ductwork: the stuff in 1980s Alpharetta homes that’s never been opened up and has decades of construction dust sitting in the returns. Off the clock, he rebuilds motorcycle engines in his garage off Haynes Bridge Road, so he approaches every duct run like a mechanical problem worth solving correctly the first time.

Sarah M. – Senior Installer, Duct Sealing

Sarah joined the Hollis team eight years ago after a career in commercial HVAC install. She’s the person we send when a homeowner in the Windward area calls about rooms that never quite cool evenly. Her specialty is duct sealing with mastic, the thick paste that gets painted over joints and seams to stop conditioned air from leaking into the attic. Most air loss in Alpharetta homes happens at the connections, and Sarah’s the one who finds it. She’s known for crawling into spaces most people don’t want to look at and coming out with a set of before-and-after photos that show exactly what was wrong. Sarah is our lead trainer for new techs on sealing protocols.

Tommy R. – Apprentice Technician

Tommy started at Hollis Air Duct Alpharetta two years ago and has earned his spot on every service call. He works alongside Marcus on rotary brush and negative-air jobs, and he’s been learning duct sealing techniques from Sarah since his first month. Tommy is originally from Cumming and knows the Alpharetta service area well: the cul-de-sacs, the streets off Kimball Bridge, the neighborhoods where the homes are close enough together that dryer vent blockages happen more than people realize. He’s the guy who double-checks the drop cloths at the door and makes sure the site is left cleaner than we found it. When he’s not running service calls, he’s finishing up his HVAC coursework at night.

Denise P. – Service Coordinator

If you call Hollis Air Duct Alpharetta, Denise is likely the first voice you hear. She’s been with this location for six years and handles scheduling, written quote prep, and the endless puzzle of routing vans across Alpharetta, Milton, and Roswell, which means she’s memorized every traffic pinch point on Highway 9 and Windward Parkway. Denise knows our price book inside out. When you call (762) 769-7145, she can give you a real price range for a system your size before anyone steps foot in the door. She lives in south Forsyth County, has three dogs that make appearances on video calls, and keeps a detailed log of every job we’ve done in Alpharetta since she started. That log has settled more than one repeat-customer question on the spot.

One Standard, Every Job

Here’s what holds the team together: The Garrison Code. It’s the operational standard every Hollis location runs on, and it’s not a marketing slogan. It’s four rules that decide whether a job was done right. We arrive inside the appointment window, in a marked van, in uniform. The price is written down before work starts, and it does not move once the technician is inside. The work is completed by the book: negative-air containment when we cut into ductwork, proper brush rotation for the system size, mastic applied to every seam on a sealing job. And the site is left clean enough that you wouldn’t know we’d been there except for the air coming out of the vents. Roy Castellanos owns this Alpharetta location and enforces those rules personally. Every technician on this page works under the same standard, on every single job.
